An abundance of early theologians contributed to the body of literary works dealing with the significance of Yesu

Scholarly expositions of Yesu's teaching continued both in the Persian-Indian and Greco-Roman philosophical and religious milieu of the 2nd and 3rd centuries. One Western scholar in particular, St. Origen of Alexandria, wrote about 400 books before he died at the age of 80 in 180AD.

During this era many scholars and Saints made literary contributions to the understanding of who Yesu was to them and their communities, and what his teaching means for their context. Among the great ones of that time we may also count, Clement of Alexandria (Gk), Baba Rishi of Kashmir (Skrt), Justin (Latin)

Apart from those aforementioned writings which the various denominations regard as sacred Scripture, a massive body of scholarly literature, enumerating literally thousands of books and treatise, from various cultural traditions and denominations of The Way adorn the shelves of knowledge about the Man Yesu the Nazorean. But are all these authors and Scriptures in accord about everything? Most definitely not. These scholars and Scriptures result from deep inside the heart of the various cultures, each enriched with its own religious and philosophical background - and each scholar is an individual relating his / her existential understanding begotten by the individual spirit's encounter with holy Scripture and Holy Spirit.
